Cloudflare has begun “Agents Week,” a series examining how cloud infrastructure and the web may need to evolve for autonomous agents rather than primarily human users. The company says it will explore agent-oriented storage, compute and execution primitives; an agentic software development lifecycle; secure access to organizational systems; and the implications for discovery, access and payments on the web. Cloudflare frames an “Agent Cloud” as both a purpose-built, agent-native foundation and a translation layer between today’s human-oriented web and a potential agent-oriented one. The company is also inviting readers to ask their own agents what infrastructure they need and share the responses.
