Omanta launched from YC as an AI company

Omanta has launched from Y Combinator’s Summer 2026 batch as an AI-focused personalized research lab for patients with cancer, rare diseases, or unresolved diagnoses, including those who have exhausted standard options or want to prepare for recurrence. The San Francisco startup says it will run patient-specific research programs spanning tissue logistics, diagnostic follow-up, data integration, multiomic analysis, and therapeutic strategy development, while giving clinicians an evolving evidence-based roadmap. The company’s approach matters because it aims to apply the infrastructure and expertise of a large research program to individual complex cases; YC lists a four-person team.
