Google and Kaggle ran a free, 5-day online course called 'AI Agents: Intensive Vibe Coding Course with Google' that registered over 353,000 participants. The course taught 'vibe coding'—programming through natural language—covering the full lifecycle of building, securing, and deploying production-grade AI agents on the cloud. More than 392,000 people collaborated on Kaggle's Discord. Over 12,000 participants contributed to capstone projects, submitting over 6,000 entries. Highlighted projects included a historical manuscript transcription tool (Palimpsest) and a space-weather research system (Project ARIES). Course materials remain available as a self-paced guide on Kaggle Learn for those who missed the live June event. The initiative demonstrates significant developer demand for learning how to build and deploy AI agents, as many participants aim to move prototypes from experimentation ('from vibe') to production ('to live').
