Google released three new Gemini models—Gemini 3.6 Flash, 3.5 Flash-Lite, and 3.5 Flash Cyber—designed to give developers higher token efficiency, lower latency, and more reliable performance for scaling AI agents in production. The company also introduced Gemini Robotics ER 2, an embodied-reasoning model that helps robots interpret language, understand their physical surroundings, and carry out multi-step tasks in the real world. Beyond models, Google expanded its creative tools with the Lyria 3.5 music-generation model and new text-to-video features in Google Vids, and it broadened integrations that let Search and Gemini Spark act across connected apps and handle logged-in web errands. Other announcements included a skilled-trades workforce alliance, three new FireSat satellites for early wildfire detection, and a de-identified study called the AI & Economy ATLAS to observe how AI is being used at work and in daily life.
